Having now been opened for 5 years, Coal and Cedar was one of the first small bars to hit Newcastle’s hospitality scene.

The main thing to have changed for the bar in that time? “More booze”.  

With a strong focus remaining on their growing whiskey collection, stop by to enjoy their whiskey of the week as well as their fortnightly rotating cocktail menu.  

Owners, Ryan, Ethan and Sean, have kept busy with cocktail classes running every weekend and on April 8th Global Brands Liquor will be partnering with Coal and Cedar to host our next Arvo Drinks.

“That’s why we go with Global…because you guys are here. The fact that you come in or send someone in for a drink is way better than having an extra $1 off a bottle of liquor, keeps it social”.  

Plus, every Monday night is industry night with 20% off for all hospitality people.

“Hopefully we will get a few faces that haven’t been in here before for the [Arvo] Drinks…”.
