Is there such thing as a hangover cure?

To mark International Hangover Day this week (August 8th), yes this is apparently a thing, I could think of no other way to write a post on the topic then with a list of potential cures. Let’s be honest, a hangover is not something to be celebrated.

 But is there actually such a thing as a cure?

 When I typed this question into google the first cure recommendation to appear was “to consume less alcohol” … yeah, cool, thanks. I dare say for most people googling such a thing the damage has already been done and the hangover is currently in place.

 But nevertheless, there are actual cures that many people swear by, have any of these worked for you?

  1. Hair of the dog

  2. Stay hydrated

  3. Sleep

  4. Take a shower

  5. Eat something

  6. Exercise

…And swear to yourself you won’t drink that much again, knowing full well you’ll probably suggest after work drinks next shift.
