Newly released shiraz, a tribute to the legendary Peter Lehmann

Peter Lehmann wines have created this Shiraz in honour of the handshake agreement between Peter Lehmann himself and the Barossa grape growers.

In the lead up to the 1979 vintage Lehmann started his own winery and took the surplus fruit from the Barossa growers with his word as his bond to repay them once he started making wine.

“A full-bodied Barossa Shiraz, the Bond is barrel-aged and boasts a rich palate with layered complexity”.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, senior winemaker, Tim Dolan, feels “privileged to continue Peter’s strong relationships with more than 140 growers across the region…”.
