A Newy favourite is back in business

Walking back into The Edwards Bar honestly feels like nothing ever happened, and that it hasn’t been over a year since I was last in there for a drink.

In fact, it’s only a few functionality things that have changed like the seating arrangements, a facelift in the beer garden to cater for more people, and the wood fire oven that has been replaced for a charcoal oven- the same one they have at Flotilla.

Zach explains, “we now have two of three of these charcoal ovens in NSW”.

So, what’s the plan now for The Edwards?

“We will go back to what we knew best what to do, open it up to the community for whatever”.

Open all day, The Edwards is great for breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee, an after-work beer, late night cocktails…just about anything!

Food:

The menu consists of A la carte but also shared style options, perfect for date night or with a group of friends.

Drinks:

“A good selection of classic Aussie wines, a good cocktail list, suspension coffee”, says Zach, “I guess it depends whenever you’re going to come in what you’re going to have”

“We are supporting our local and Aussie craft brews on tap and the cocktail list we will probably change seasonally”.
