Would you tap that?

While cocktails on tap are certainly not something new, we are definitely seeing a rise in popularity throughout Newcastle.

While many bartenders would argue that cocktails on tap may take away from the quality and theatrical aspect of a cocktail, it is hard to deny the many benefits that come with it.

Faster Service

Being able to pour a cocktail straight from a tap would allow you to give the customer one, or multiple, cocktails straight away without any waiting period.

Consistency

Cocktails can vary from bartender to bartender, or even from the same bartender. Cocktails poured from the same keg would ensure consistency throughout each drink.

Increased profit

Making a cocktail definitely takes up a bit of time from staff, so having the luxury of serving it up like a beer would allow more time for staff to serve more people. Customers may also buy more cocktails knowing there is a no wait time.

Opportunity to sample

Cocktails on tap allow for customers to try before they buy, just like they do with a new beer on tap.
